SUMMARY
This picturebook tells the story of some interesting inventions over time including; the tank, the helicopter, the parachute, the aeroplane, the submarine and the handglider. The author attempts to recap the processes the inventors would have gone through by retelling their stories aimed at children. The pictures allow for a visual journey as well as a captivating story.

EVALUATION
This would be an excellent pre-text to use within the lower levels of primary school, due to it's visual aspects and use of a comic strip type genre. Students would use this story to get background information on prior inventions and could become an inventor themselves for a design challenge.
