SUMMARY

The activity is for students to plan and design a new food industry on the Gold Coast. Students should begin to understand the process of development, production and promotion of a product through a Design Challenge. This educational module is 'ready to teach' with features including; Aim, Prior Knowledge, Focus Question, Core Learning Outcomes, Cross-curricular Links, Syllabus Links, Productive Pedagogies, New Basics, Rich Tasks, Suggested follow-up activites, Useful web links, Sources, Anticipated student responses, Occupations and future pathways, assesment criteria and ready to print worksheets.
